It is a native of Asia cereal which was adopted by others for their great taste and versatility, ease of preparation and price. Rice is the second most-produced cereal in the world after corn. Because it is rich in carbohydrates, it acts as fuel for the body and helps in the normal functioning of the brain, has lots of vitamins, minerals and various organic components to enhance performance and metabolic activity of all organ systems . It is low in fat, sodium, is rich in insoluble fiber which helps to protect against various cancers. And ultimately it is the perfect outline to accompany our proteins.

1 tablespoon Olive oil extra virgin | |
1 clove Garlic with skin | |
1 teaspoon Salt |

Preparation

In a pot add a tablespoon of oil, heat and a clove of crushed garlic with skin lightly fry. Remove garlic.

Add the rice in the pot and a tablespoon of salt and stir until the rice is soaked with oil.

Incorporate 2 cups water and bring to high heat to boil.

Note that depending on the type of rice cooking time may vary. For example basmati rice provides instructions boil in salted water and boil add the rice and boil for 10 minutes, then strain and that doneness should be perfect.
Once boiling is brought to a simmer and cook covered for about 15 minutes or until rice has absorbed the water is soft.
