This sweet is made with pumpkin, albeit in a specific variety, which is named angel hair, for the thin and soft shreds that forms. This fruit can be found in every corner of the country. The preparation of this sweet requires some attention, as most sweets in syrup, but the result is wonderful and unique flavor.

Preparation

Cut the pumpkin into medium pieces with a knife and remove the seeds.

Place in a pot with water and boil until tender, then proceeds to chop and squeeze the pumpkin and reserve.

Peel and cut the pineapple into slices about 1 cm.

Weigh the pumpkin and pineapple and per kg, use 1 ½ kg of sugar and ½ liter of water.
