The mashed potatoes are the perfect garnish for meat and fish and everyone tends to like it. And there’s nothing more comforting than a good and delicious mashed potatoes constituting one of the few foods able to maintain itself an acceptable nutritional burden.

Preparation

Wash the potatoes.

In a saucepan over high heat to boil water.

When it breaks a boil add salt and potatoes (helps preserve nutrients) go down a fire and let it cook until tender (20 to 40 minutes depending on the size of the potatoes).

Turn off heat and remove the potatoes from the water.

Remove the skin and mash the potatoes with the help of a potato masher or fork.

Add salt to adjust taste if necessary.

Serve.
