The cheese dressed in gown, is an appetizer that has become popular in the Venezuelan meetings for its practicality when preparing delicious and bittersweet, with a fusion of the smoothness of cream cheese and accented pepper flavor syrup. Generally consumed smeared with bread, crackers, breadsticks, among other snacks, with an elegant appetizer to surprise your guests.

Ingredients

cream-cheese 500 gr Cream Cheese
bell-pepper 1 Red Bell Pepper
bell-pepper 1 Green Bell Pepper
vinegar ½ cup Vinegar
sugar 1 cup of Sugar
vegetable-oil 1 teaspoon Oil
bread Toast breadsticks, to spread

Knife
Cutting board
Frying pan
Oval Mould

Preparation

  1. Cut the peppers in brunoise with the help of a knife on a cutting board.

  2. Place the peppers in a pan with a teaspoon of oil and fry for 5 minutes.

  3. Add sugar until lightly browned.

  4. Pour the vinegar to the mix and cook for 5 minutes until it forms a syrup.

  5. Let rest.

  6. Pour the cheese in a preferably oval and unmold on a flat plate mold to improve the presentation.

  7. Dip the cheese with syrup and serve with toast, breadsticks or crackers.
