
Easy making and nice flavor dish, being a rich option, healthy to consume, the cauliflower is beneficial because of its nutritious and antioxidant properties, ally when it comes to losing weight, it is a different way to eat cauliflower, which has previously been cooked and brought to oven bathed in a béchamel sauce and sprinkled with parmesan cheese until gratin. This is a recipe which will be loved by the entire family, especially by children, who mostly have a hard time eating vegetables. It can also be served as garnish for main courses.

Preparation

Wash the flowers very well with abundant water and vinegar, and drain.

Place the cauliflowers in a large pot with plenty of water and boil for 20 minutes.

Simultaneously, make the béchamel sauce. To do so, place the butter in a pot to medium heat until melted.

Add the wheat flour and mix with the butter with energetic movements until is integrated.

Pour the milk bit by bit and mix with a wooden pallet until a thick sauce.

Add salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste. Continue blending until it thickens completely.

When the cauliflowers are done, place them in an ovenproof dish and bathe them with the previously made sauce.

Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and bring to oven to 250 degrees Celsius until gratin.

Serve as a garnish.
