Preparation

Preheat oven to 180 °C.

Peel the plantains and cut in half lengthwise.

In a tray covered with release paper are arranged separately the plantains or they can also be accommodated in a suitable baking dish lightly greased with oil or butter.

Brush the surface of the plantains with a little butter.

Top with grated cheese and bake for about 15 – 20 minutes.

You will know they’re ready when caramelized slightly and the cheese is completely melted.

Remove from oven and serve.
