A year and a half ago or so the dream of papelonconlimon.it began, between facts, desires, illusions and willing to undertake and show Venezuelan cuisine, perhaps as a defense mechanism to keep close my own and avoid throwing my roots away, or just pursuit on the hard but wonderful project of collaborating in the creation of the country brand outside our borders.
The dream became palpable with the launching of the website: how much work involved! And how many hands and talents in action.
After a year and after several attempts to understand that maybe it was not the right time or the precise circumstances the project took the expected step that through the implementation of the Foodtruck, let’s call it “the biggest dream” …
Late nights, unstopabble rains, inexperience and uncountable stubles reduced to a few manifestations of our presence in the market at the station where the truck could be open to the public.
Then came autumn and winter: another detail outside the mental process of coming from the tropics to this … I think papelonconlimon.it -web and Foodtruck- are botrh part of a wonderful project and today are a reality in the process of growth.
As winter is passing, as spring will appear, the green shoots of the leaves will begin to appear on the trees that seem to be dry but are only asleep, just as we will return to the streets, we will be present at Streetfood fairs and we will keep Touring Italy, showing with pride the flavors of Venezuelan cuisine …
Meanwhile, please apreciate my gift to you, use of the website and the knowledge in it, here are many hours of dedication given yo present you recipes and information about Venezuelan gastronomy. Make us feel that it’ve been worth all the efforts. And if you are outside of Venezuela identify yourself with our original slogan of “how to emigrate without losing the season in the attempt”
We’ll keep in touch …
